winemaker's notes:

Light straw in color with green highlights. The nose is dominated by green olive, lemongrass and capsicum with hints of nectarine. The rich fruit intensity shows sweet capsicum, gooseberry and rockmelon flavors. The palate is long, with the fresh herbaceous notes complemented by the riper tropical fruit flavors. A well-balanced wine with the fresh, crisp acidity associated with this style.

Alcohol: 13.3%

A Customer - Naperville, IL
Not normally a SB wine drinker, I was extremely impressed with this wine. It's strength of flavor and lasting taste was fantastic. I plan to add this to my "list" of wines to drink regularly.
A Customer - Monte Sereno, CA
A *phenomenal* wine. A complex Sauvignon Blanc, retaining a wild edge to it. Utterly and totally delicious. I bought it 'cause I had tried the Forefathers Marlborough SB and fallen in love with it, couldn't find it and attempted a substitute. I hit the jackpot with the Brancott SB Reserve. Omygawd. Enjoy. An *excellent* value at under $20, really, these wines are bound to go through the roof...
A Customer - Chicago, IL
This SB from Australia is definitely different from American and French SB's. The cool weather (especially at night) leads to a slow ripening process. The nose is grass and shows the level of acidity. The fruit does show melon and capsicum (sweet red pepper) tones. There is an acidic finish. I am a regular SB drinker and if you are looking for a SB off the beaten path, try this one.
