This wine is the true expression of Carneros-in-a-glass, though structurally its bigger than our usual house style. Fruit sets the tone: cherries, plums and orange blossoms. Nicely integrated oak supports the fruit. Notes of baking spice add interest. Serious at first, this Pinot is creamy in the mid-palate and the finish goes on and on. While ready to drink now, it will clearly benefit from bottle aging.
