Full and intense, with notes of small wild berries and pleasing scents of noble wood, vanilla and cocoa. On the palate, dry, well structured, austere and elegant; good harmony between the tannic and acid components and those responsible for softness (alcohol and glycerine); excellent persistence on the palate.
This is a wine for the whole meal, particularly suitable for serving with pasta and rice, all meat dishes and cheese.

I just love this wine. I just had it with pizza and it was wonderful. Chianti is one of my faves. We make pizza a lot and we always have Chianti. This bottle was great.

This is a lovely Chianti. It is smooth and refined -- perfect with lamb, beef, pasta, even salmon. I brought a couple of bottles to a dinner party and everyone asked for more wine! I'm ordering a case of this one.
