Alcohol By Volume Guide

  • 10%
  • 16+%
Most wine ranges from 10-16% alcohol by volume. Some varietals tend to have higher (for example Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon) or lower alcohol levels (Pinot Noir and many white varietals), but there is always some variation from producer to producer. Some wine falls outside of this range, for instance Port weighs in closer to 20%, while Muscat and Riesling are usually a bit below 10%.

Winemaker's Notes

Aromas of peaches and cream, citrus blossom and apricot greet you at the glass. Peaches and cream are a sensory signature of this wine. Fruit flavors of apricot and peach are accented with spice. The wine is crisp and rich with beautiful elegance and a very long finish.

Suggested pairings include grilled shrimp with tropical fruit salsa, thai dishes with mild curries and coconut milk, pumpkin curry, pizza with fresh mozzarella, papaya and diced serrano peppers, lobster and scallops in a pear vinegar cream sauce, and smoked trout.
