This is a powerful cab, nice and inky deep ruby red with no stray tannins. As it is one of the few "Organically Grown" wines I have tried, I was not expecting such a full scale find. Do let it decant for a few hours, perhaps over-night.
While it may seem unusual to compare a cab to a pinot noir, this is very much like the Argyle 2001 Pinot Noir of Willamette Valley, Oregon. It has concentrated black cherry, mineral and light spice. Has a little bit of mint in the middle, and a nice dry grand slam of a finish, tamed a little by decanting for hours.

This wine needs to breath for a bit before you pour. It has a light yet pleasing bouquet that becomes more appealing with each sip. It has a wonderful finish as well. We were pleasantly surprised!
