The wine tastes okay, it has a subtle rustic flavor and does not overpower. The taste was not very complex, so I did not find myself savoring the glass. I did not enjoy the bouquet of the wine at all. I know this is categorized as an earthy/spicy wine, but the bouquet was a little too earthy (especially considering the flavor was not very earthy). In general, the wine is just below average...which is good considering the bargain basement price.
