Winemaker's Notes

The 2006 Neo Sentido is 100% Tempranillo aged in a mix of new and used French and American oak for 8 months and bottled without fining or filtration. Purple-colored, it exhibits aromas of cedar, spice box, pencil lead, and blackberry. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, the wine reveals some tasty, spicy fruit, good balance, and a moderately long, pure finish. Give it 2-3 years to blossom more fully and drink it through 2020.

Critical Acclaim

"The 2006 Neo Sentido is 100% Tinto Fino sourced from 60-year-old vines. It was aged in a mix of new and used French and American oak for eight months before bottling without filtration. The attractive nose exhibits cedar, spice box, tobacco, and black cherry leading to a ripe, nicely balanced wine with a bit of structure, spicy black fruit flavors, and good length. Drink it from 2010 to 2020.
