Alcohol By Volume Guide

  • 10%
  • 16+%
Most wine ranges from 10-16% alcohol by volume. Some varietals tend to have higher (for example Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon) or lower alcohol levels (Pinot Noir and many white varietals), but there is always some variation from producer to producer. Some wine falls outside of this range, for instance Port weighs in closer to 20%, while Muscat and Riesling are usually a bit below 10%.

Winemaker's Notes

Very deep and intense color with blue notes, black fruits, tobacco, graphite, white pepper very well integrated with the oak, showing a good balance with the acidity, mineral, huge ripe and intense tannins. Pairs well with mediterranean pasta, grilled vegetables and meat.

The Marshall pays tribute to the founder. These grapes are selected from the oldest vineyard rows on the Lunlunta vineyard in the Lujan de Cuyo. The inensity of low yielding old vines produces some of the best Malbecs in the world.
