We offer two ways to locate information:
Comprising 51% Shiraz and 49% Cabernet Sauvignon the wine displays flavors of ripe plum jam and blackberries from the Shiraz components together with more subtle notes of mint and spice produced from Cabernet Sauvignon portions.
Fine tannins lengthen the palate and toasty oak, gained from 12 months maturation in a mixture of older French and American oak barrels, adds further complexity to the blend.
"The 2005 Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon, a blend of 51% Shiraz and 49% Cabernet Sauvignon was aged in neutral American oak for 15 months. Purple in color, it reveals scents of cedar, tobacco, blackcurrants and blueberry. In the mouth, it is supple-textured with black berry flavors and a bit of mint in the background. This nicely balanced effort has very good depth and length." Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate 89 Points
