"The 2001 Shiraz/Cabernet Sauvignon (68% of the former and 32% of the latter) sees 10-15% new oak. This dense, richly fruity, medium to full-bodied blend possesses copious quantities of black fruits intermixed with pepper and spice characteristics. Sexy and seductive, with low acidity as well as ripe tannin, it will drink well for 3-4 years. It is an excellent value.
Six generations of Potts (the proprietors) have been farming these vineyards, but this was my first experience with Bleasdale's solid portfolio." - Wine Advocate
