Cabernet Franc planted in dense, clay and limestone soil recently aquired. This unusual combination of soils helps create a wine of great strength and density, filled with character.

Situated in the village of Cravant-les-Coteaux and in the town of Chinon. The vineyard is home to varying types of soil for each different cuvée. The single grape variety is Cabernet Franc.
The soil is worked without using herbicides. The vines are farmed using techniques that are environmentally friendly. Vineyard practices include manual debudding and hand harvesting. Wines mature in concrete and wooden vats and oak barrels.
It's unfortunate that this region is so under appreciated and overlooked - the wines from the Loire Valley are outstanding.
