Now I know why Moscato is usually made as a white wine only... The slight gain in body and hint of tannin that this rose (not really a true red IMO) realizes over similarly priced white Moscato only serves to mask the smoothness and subtlety that the more conventional version possesses. Not a bad wine at all, but nothing special either.
