Its an elegant pour, nice color and body, the nose is tangy fruit with oak and chocolate. The flavor runs to full with a light body and fruit forward, a nice middle structure to a full tannin finish. This is a fine example of the Knights Valley brand from Beringer. I will age well and get even better as it ages. This is worth a taste now, and worthwhile to put a few bottles away to ripen. I would serve it with lamb, beef or heavy cheese pasta sauces.
