Benton Lane Pinot Noir 2004
Pinot Noir
from Willamette Valley, Oregon
winemaker's notes:
Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2006!
Our "Estate" Pinot Noir is a blend of seven different clones of Pinot Noir grapes grown on our Southern Willamette Valley location. The diversity of clones produces a more interesting wine with a depth of character. This wine exhibits enticing aromas of cherry and mixed berries, with underlying hints of mocha, rose petal, cola and forest floor. The tannins are very fine, resulting in a rich, silky texture. Exquisite balance and complexity make this wine an excellent match with a wide array of foods.

A fabulous effort in winemaking! Wonderful silky pinot noir that everyone should have in their cellar -- a terrific value. I placed my third order today; all my friends are raving about this one...

Delicious! In my opinion, the best Pinot for the money you can buy.
