1999 Santa Barbara County Syrah is a big one! Made up of 65% Purisima Mountain Vineyard fruit, 20% Stolpman Vineyard, and 15% Thompson Vineyard.
The Syrah has a big nose of deep plum and black berry, truffle, black pepper, and toasty aromas with an inky dark purple color. The fruit is
upfront and big with ripe plum and jammy black berry flavors followed by mouth a coating core of integrated dark fruit and spiciness finishing with big tannins and great acidity. Another great wine to age over the next 7 years.
