This wine is taken from twenty seven of our grower partners from the Barossa Valley Floor with 16% from our own vineyards in Marananga. 16% was also taken from the Northern Barossa where we source our award winning E&E Black Pepper Shiraz. After fermentation 45% of this wine was aged six months in equal portions of French and American oak. The oak selection has added complexity and flavour with 24% aged in new oak barrels, 10% in one year old barrels, 30% in two year old barrels and 36% in three to four year old barrels.
Deep red in colour with purple hues, this wine exhibits rich Shiraz aromas of cherries, plums, spices, and black pepper along with some beautifully integrated oak sweetness and spice.
