Ruby red in color with lots of berries. Full bodied yet soft with deep cherry and blackberry aromas, predominated by flavors of fresh fruit on the palate. This wine combines perfectly with the culinary tradition of the area. Recommended with flavorful pasta dishes and wild game but an excellent accompaniment to most Mediterranean cuisine.
"Medium garnet. More expansive than the regular Chianti; less floral and more briary on the nose. Ripe plum and rhubarb flavors are complemented by roasted espresso beans and mocha. Full, rich and sweet, but with plenty of grip. Firm tannins lead the way to a satisfying finish."-International Wine Cellar

Sangiovese re...Read More About Sangiovese
