Beaulieu Vineyards fermented their 2004 Century Cellars
Chardonnay in stainless steel and oak barrels, controlling the temperature to keep the wine
cool and fresh. Twenty percent of the wine underwent malolactic fermentation to give the wine added richness.
The finished wine shows tropical, apple and citrus aromas, followed by lovely flavors of
the same. A slight oak influence and rich lingering flavors create a sumptuous finish. This
Chardonnay is delicious with creamy pasta or chicken dishes.
