85% Prugnolo Gentile, 15% Cabernet-Sauvignon. Ageing: in oak barrels for 30 months. Refinement in bottles: 9 months. Characteristics: Vino Nobile "Grandi Annate" is garnet red in color; its bouquet remind of red berries with a slight scent of violet; the taste is fullbodied, round, with a very long finish.
"Good full ruby-red. Extremely floral nose (lavender, violet, rose) also reveals red cherry and blackberry nuances. Full-bodied and velvety, offering mouthcoating flavors of plums macerated in alcohol and chocolate syrup. Finishes very long and smooth, with a persistent chocolatey note. The best Grandi Annate ever."
International Wine Cellar
"A broad, earthy red, displaying Chambord, black pepper, peony and tobacco flavors. Burly and muscular on the slightly dry finish, where the gritty tannins take over. Best from 2013 through 2023. 2,000 cases made."
