Avalon Napa Cabernet Sauvignon 2002
from Napa Valley, California
Outstanding aromas of raspberry torte, deep black cherry, boysenberry and hints
of rosemary are the first hints of the wine's birthplace. Barrel aging in French oak, with just a touch of American oak, imparted caramel, vanilla and cedar on the nose. The addition of Syrah and Merlot added an additional
blueberry note while Petite Verdot and Cabernet Franc add cherry tobacco and plum components. Our 2002 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon with rich fruit intensity, silky tannins and long lingering finish pays tribute to its world
renowned appellation while honoring its commitment to value.

A Customer - Calgary, Alberta
Nose - typical well bred Cabernet, hints of Green Pepper and organic. A little hot but burried inside is the hints of cherry and dark fruit.
Palate - After opening up a bit (I would recomend decanting as the air does it good) A palate coating dark and velvety flow. A touch of tanins and then cherrys and a bit of chocolate.
Might age it for 5-7 years.
Recomend with red meats, a seared tuna steak or wild game.
A nice stand by itself wine but definatelt helped by food.
