Our 2011 vintage displays aromas of blueberry jam, strawberry tart, boysenberries and a hint of teriyaki, with barrel notes of vanilla and cinnamon. The blend is 88% Cabernet, 11% Merlot and a splash of Zinfandel for a little berry spice. The wine drinks of rich black cherries, red raspberries and juicy ripe plums with a touch of dried herbs. Medium in weight, the wine shows smooth tannins, flavorful fruit tones and a rich berry extract that lingers on the palate.
This versatile Cabernet Sauvignon pairs well with juicy grilled meats, including prime rib, grilled burgers or pork tenderloin. Try it with roasted game hens or smoked Gouda or aged Parmesan cheese. It's also perfect to enjoy a glass before dinner or with friends.
