Winemaker's Notes

The Argentiera etate is located in the small but prestigious Bolgheri DOC zone on the Tuscan coast with famous neighboring producers such as Sassicaia and Ornellaia. The estate is owned by brothers Corrado and Marcello Fratini and Marchese Piero Antinori.

This is an incredible new wine from a region of pedigree and is already gaining recognition. Intense ruby red color with fruity aromas of wild berries and caramel followed by spicy aromas like red dried pepper. A wine of good structure, remarkably round and rich on the palate. A generous harmonious taste with subtle, sweet tannins and fruity hints of wild berries. A long, lingering and seductive finish.

65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc
