Alcohol By Volume Guide

  • 10%
  • 16+%
Most wine ranges from 10-16% alcohol by volume. Some varietals tend to have higher (for example Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon) or lower alcohol levels (Pinot Noir and many white varietals), but there is always some variation from producer to producer. Some wine falls outside of this range, for instance Port weighs in closer to 20%, while Muscat and Riesling are usually a bit below 10%.

Winemaker's Notes

Intense violet in color. The nose seduces with aromas that recall blueberries, blackberries and raspberries that are nicely integrated with rosemary, bay leaf, and subtle spice and floral notes. The palate is fresh, with silky ripe tannins and elegant texture. Its aging in oak barrels contribute smoky and sweet spice notes that harmoniously complement its aromatic profile. Its natural acidity is refreshing, making this a vibrant and persistent Syrah with excellent cellaring potential.

Made with 100% Syrah.
