Anselmi San Vincenzo 2003
White Wine
from Veneto, Italy
winemaker's notes:
80% Garganega, 15% Chardonnay and 5% Trebbiano varietal, with no wood, though in a fruity, youthful style, reminiscent of nuts and peaches, already exhibits the trademark Anselmi complexity.
Roberto Anselmi's is a strong, maverick personality. His winery provides impressive evidence of what the indigenous Garganega variety can achieve, when properly grown and superbly crafted.

I've worked in a wine shop for years as well as bartended throughout NYC. This is one of the most crowd pleasing, inexpensive, white wines out there. It has pleasant fruit with no bitterness or overwhelming wood flavors. I almost don't want to share the secret.

i had gone to a wedding reception and none the less the groom imports and exports wine for a living! this is a must taste! I also recommend a red italian wine allegrini, palatzzo de la torre although strong its very smooth and full of favor. you'll remember it!

Recently my husband and I decided to order a bottle of wine while dining at a new Italian resturant near our home. I was reluctant because I normally do not like wine, unless it is very sweet. I explained this to our server and she suggested a bottle of Anselmi (2001 vintage). I was totally amazed at how good this wine was and how inexpensive it was too. If you prefer a light wine with no bitterness and is easy to drink, this is the wine for you. It is just delightful!
