Winemaker's Notes

Anapamu Syrah is a rich crimson color, with enticing aromas of ripe black cherries, violets and sun ripened plums that follow through on the palate. Robust notes of tobacco and white pepper accent the rich fruit. The wine is full bodied, with lush fruit flavors balanced by soft, supple tannins.

This wine pairs well with game and robust meat dishes and more simple preparations such as roasted chicken with rosemary and garlic.

Alcohol Level: 14.4%

I tasted this wine that to me tasted highly elegant but subtle in character. Most enjoyable with pasta that is slightly spicy and with white meat.
