Winemaker's Notes

The 2007 Chardonnay Amaral Barrel-Fermented was raised in a mix of new and used French oak and went through malolactic fermentation. Light gold-colored, it offers a toasty perfume of poached pear and tropical fruits. Creamy-textured and savory, it is a well-balanced effort with very good length. - Wine Advocate 10/08
