Allegrini Valpolicella Classico 2003
Red Wine
from Veneto, Italy
winemaker's notes:
Characterized by fresh, cherry-like perfumes, moderate alcohol levels and fairly high acidity. It is lively and ready to drink with moderate tannins and a bright, vivacious color. A wine that is meant to be enjoyed while it is still young and exhibits its most fragrant and intense fruit. Recommended with antipasti and lighter pasta dishes. Also compliments seafood and lightly grilled white meats.

A Customer - Hungary
I fully agree with the winemaker's comments. This is what I had thought about this wine before reading the comments, even as far as food matching. Because of its lightness it's also enjoyable by itself (without any food).
