Alexander Valley Vineyards Sin Zin Zinfandel 2005

Sin Zin is pure Alexander Valley. For over 25 years, Sin Zin has been comprised of Alexander Valley grapes and helped define the valley's typical Zinfandel profile.

The color is deep ruby. Bing cherry and plum dominate the bouquet, followed by aromas of crushed black pepper, boysenberry and wild strawberry. Eucalyptus, cedar and cola fill the palate. The wine finishes with subtle oak nuances and integrated acid balance. This is a medium bodied wine with a cellar life of 5-8 years.

Food pairings: Sin Zin is extremely versatile, perhaps even more so than Pinot Noir, since it holds up to spicy and boldly flavored foods. It's the perfect match for casual Italian including pizza, pasta and lasagna. It also works great with sweet and saucy BBQ Ribs and anything off the grill. For the perfect pairing try it with a black pepper crusted steak.
