The 2010 vintage of this Chardonnay was crafted from a blend of grapes from premium vineyards in the heart of the Russian River Valley. Carefully tended vines yield fruit of exemplary quality: a pure expression of the valley's terroir. The cool foggy mornings are tempered by luxuriously warm afternoons to achieve fruit maturity without loss of depth or suppleness.

The Greystone Cellars Chardonnay vineyard sites were specifically chosen for their tropical nature. This vintage opens with bright aromas of Meyer lemon and yellow apple, punctuated by hints of butterscotch and subtle floral notes. The cooler vintage has produced lively, elegant aromas and flavors of kiwi, pineapple, lime, papaya, apricot and citrus zest on an underlying richness of caramelized fruit tart and cremebrulee. The abundance of exotic fruit gives way to a long, delicious mouth-coating finish that lingers on and on.

Classic lemon in color, becomes more golden with age. Inviting fruit aromas of honeydew, yellow peach and fig are supported by vanilla and caramel. Creamy vanilla integrates with honeysuckle, pineapple and apricot for a fabulous richness on the palate. A luscious mouthfeel leads to a generous and creamy finish.
