Spiced blackberry and raspberry with notes of violet and tobacco frame this expressive nose. The mouth is silky textured with sweet bing cherry and black cassis balanced by firm acidity and well-integrated tannins.

The 2011 Kings Ridge Pinot Noir has great balance of fresh raspberries, blackberries, and hints of bramble and coffee. It shows off some of its silky sweet fruits but then plays coy as the acidity and structure envelope the wine.

Aromas of cinnamon bark, cardamom, cranberry and tobacco notes lead to a mouth of bright cherry, silky mid-palate and good length. Notes of licorice and plum linger.
