Ruby red with garnet reflections. The bouquet is rich and complex, with good persistence and hints of lavender which is followed by notes of leather and tobacco. The taste is balanced, elegant, pleasantly tannic, with a long, lingering finish.

The 2009 Barolo Rocche is ruby red in color. Complex and full-bodied with intense aromas of dried roses, licorice, spice andtruffles. It is elegant with strong, yet balanced and silky tannins; long and persistent finish.
