Flavors of rich, tropical fruit dominate this beautiful 2010 Chardonnay sourced from our Carneros Estate vineyards in southern Napa Valley. The nose offers essences of baked apple and pear with ripe, expressive flavors of peach and apricot. The mouthfeel is full and rich, accented by bright citrus and a hint of oak, with a long finish.

This Chardonnay displays mineral and flint from the cooler sites; tropical fruit, pear and honey from the warmer site. The mild oak adds a hint of vanilla and hazelnut.

The 2009 Mayacamas Chardonnay shows banana, lychee, and lemon on the nose in the bouquet. On the palate, you get white Figs, white peach, pear, and crisp apple. The very subtle French Oak treatment is in the background, and the acidity is bright. This Chardonnay will round out in the mid-palate around 2015.
