Justin's 2011 Chardonnay is a perfect balance of styles. Crisp on the palate with peach and lemon citrus combined with just a touch of elegant French oak richness, it's never heavy or buttery, and is a refreshing match to most any dish.
Portraying bright crispness, subtle sweetness and aromas of jasmine, pear and apple, Pacific Rim Riesling exemplifies the harmony of Riesling. The sweetness plays wonderfully with fiery fare (from Thai to Mexican), while the natural acidity stands up to richer foods (from French to German).
The 2009 Mayacamas Chardonnay shows banana, lychee, and lemon on the nose in the bouquet. On the palate, you get white Figs, white peach, pear, and crisp apple. The very subtle French Oak treatment is in the background, and the acidity is bright. This Chardonnay will round out in the mid-palate around 2015.
Pale straw with green hues. Aromas of fresh pear and stone fruit balanced with a hint of French oak. Up front fruit sweetness on the palate, balanced by a crisp clean finish, and the mid palate has a creamy weighted texture gained from lees stirring.
