French Bodegas Wine

Harvested from 60+ year old vines and aged ten months in French oak barrels, Bodegas Castano Solanera is a custom cuvee for Eric Solomon Selections. A blend of 65% Monastrell, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Garnacha Tintorera.

Wine defined and intense, deep red color and good intensity. Its small red fruit notes, plums and figs combine with aromas of vanilla and snuff delivered during aging in French oak. In the mouth it is with great personality, distinguished body, harmonious and sensual.

Naveran Brut Vintage has expressive and zesty floral, toasted bread and citrus aromas. Tangy, suave, light and clean citrus and stone fruit flavors on the palate have a fresh and crisp character. This is a new wine from Jorge Ordonez from the region of Montsant with soils just like it's neighbor, Priorat. Zerran Tinto 2010 is made from Syrah and very old Garnacha vines and Carignan (aka Mazuelo) aged 16 months in French oak. The red has very concentrated black fruit flavors and overtones of crushed stone.
