California Reserve Red Wine

A complex sparkling wine created in a robust style that offers weight and dimension to the palate. With extended time on the yeast, this wine has a creamy texture, combining aromas of toasted hazelnuts with notes of black cherry, baked apple and ginger.

The 2010 Merlot captures the rich, ripe flavors of the Dry Creek Valley terroir. Aromas and flavors of red licorice, Satsuma plums, red fruit jam and blackberry meld with hints of toasted oak, milk chocolate and medium-roasted coffee. This medium-bodied wine delivers excellent structure and an elegant finish.Blend: 88% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Petite Sirah

Aromas of lush black cherry, blackberry and cassis draw you in. Round and rich tannins provide a robust backbone and supple mid-palate. Notes of cedar, vanilla and a hint of mocha linger on the finish.

A spicy bouquet of roses and cherries greets the nose, with flavors of black cherry, tangy cranberry and brown spices to follow. The long spicy finish is accented by a hint of toasty oak from 16 months aging in French oak barrels. We anticipate this wine will continue to age gracefully in the cellar for up to 10 years.
