Chardonnay's versatility makes for interesting winemaking and we employ several techniques toachieve our goal of producing a modern Chardonnay that is crisp, fresh and exciting. We are aimingto capture the lemon / lime citrus flavours and subtly support this with thoughtful use of highquality, tight grain French oak barrels for fermentation and maturation.

Redolent in cherry and spice, with hints of strawberry, game and Pinot's characteristic velvety texture, this is a subtle, seductive wine of great charm and poise. Enjoy slightly cooler than the usual Australian reds but not too cold as the acids will stand out.

We aim to preserve the varietal's integrity by selecting on phenolic ripeness and fermenting a portion in tight grain French Oak barrels as well as a portion in stainless steel. This allows a richness and creaminess without masking the chardonnay.
