2010 Syrah Red Wine

Very dark in color, with a fairly syrupy appearance. Aromas of wild berry fruits (raspberries, gooseberries, blackcurrants), spices, cinnamon and a touch of mint. Very rich and fat on the palate with a long, silky finish. This is a wine of a rare complexity.A perfect match for Mediterranean food, spicy dishes, sauced meats, game and charcuteries.

#76 Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2012The 2010 Austin Hope Syrah displays a deeply concentrated purple color with aromas of blueberry, cherry and hints of spice and wild herbs. Fresh, juicy berries, plum and red cherry emerge on the palate, balanced by notes of smoked meat and chocolate.

The 2010 Alpha Series Syrah is an intense ruby red color. It has enchanting floral aromas accompanied by tobacco and leathery notes. It's powerful and full bodied on the palate, with soft and mature tannins and a very long and elegant finish.Blend: 90% Syrah, 7% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Viognier

This is a new wine from Jorge Ordonez from the region of Montsant with soils just like it's neighbor, Priorat.
