2010 Barbera Wine

The Barbera grapes grown in the Barolo area give full structure, plummy and complex flavor, with spicy and ripe fruit, blackberry aroma and a hint of toasted tobacco. It ages quite well.

Medium bodied and robust with rich, ripe fruit on the nose and an elegant palate.Pairs well with chicken, mushrooms, pork and grilled or roasted red meats.

The full bouquet is characteristic, complex and very persistent, the palate austere and warm, its considerable full body accentuated; the wine's superb balance and harmony are further exalted by sweet tannins. Delicious with braised beef, game and aged cheese.
