2009 White Wine Riesling

This is a refreshing, vibrant wine with racy acidity. It has juicy melon and peach flavors, a hint of citrus, and a minerality note throughout. It finishes nice and clean.

Pale bright yellow straw. Lemon peel, honeyed fruit, and menthol on the nose. Ripe, supple and rich, yet lean and precise with excellent mineral character.Pairs well with shellfish and white meats in white wine sauces.

Beautiful straw color with green edges. Fine mineral fragrance with ginger, caraway seed, underripe pineapple and flowers. Flavors of white peach, quince and lemon on the palate with a lingering, clean and dry finish.Served best with marinated, grilled, or sauced fish, and sushi. Delicious with traditional Alsace dishes like onion tarte, sauerkraut, and pork.

The color is light gold, with an aroma that has a delicate fragrance recalling ripe apricot and citrus fruit.On the palate the wine is elegantly structured, with pronounced mineral character imparted by the slate-rich soil in which the grapes are grown.A delicious match with chicken, seafood and Asian cuisine.

A wine of exceptional length, the palate displays classic Rieslings flavors oflime, grapefruit and green apple. The palate finishes with clean crisp succulent acidity.

The refreshinglime flavors carry through on the palate which has a zesty freshness, a steely minerality and astrikingly clean finish. With careful cellaring, it will continue to develop and honey in the bottlefor a further five to ten years.
