2008 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

Our 2008 Charles Wetmore Cabernet Sauvignon has aromas and flavors of black cherry, chocolate, vanilla and hints of brown sugar and clove. With balanced acidity and round mouthfeel, this wine delivers a smooth, long-lasting finish.

This fine wine displays a saturated, almost opaque black-red color. The aromatics show blackberry, violets and liquorice, which are inter-mingled with vanilla, graphite and nuances of cigar box and sandalwood. On the palate the wine is rich and opulent, and shows layers of sweet fruit with a superb integration of oak and fruit, reflecting supple and ripe tannins.

Built for comfort as much as speed, the 2008 vintage is packed with fruit and ready to roll, reminding us of our outstanding 2002 Reserve Cabernet.
